At Coastal Virginia Candle Co., each order is hand-poured, packaged, and shipped with care from our studio in Gloucester County, Virginia. We’re dedicated to ensuring that your candles and home fragrance products arrive safely and promptly, in line with our shipping policies.
Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). During high-volume periods—such as sales, holidays, or new product launches—processing may take slightly longer. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, including tracking information. Please note that we only ship Monday-Thursday.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location and package weight. During hotter weather, particularly in summer when temps exceed 90 degrees, it may be necessary to choose expedited shipping to ensure your order arrives promptly.
Estimated delivery times:
Standard Shipping (USPS or UPS Ground): 3–7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed once the package is in transit.
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on all U.S. orders over $75 (after discounts and before tax), making it easier for you to enjoy our products.

You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. Please bring your confirmation email or order number when collecting your order.
International Shipping
Currently, we only ship within the United States. If you’re interested in special arrangements for international delivery, please contact us at info@covacandle.com.
Order Tracking & Delivery
Once your package leaves our studio, tracking information will be provided via email. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system. If your package is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please check with your local post office or carrier. Coastal Virginia Candle Co. is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery confirmation.
Damaged or Missing Items
We take great care in packaging, but if your order arrives damaged or with missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@covacandle.com, including photos of the product and packaging. We will address such issues promptly in accordance with our returns policy, offering a replacement or store credit.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. Coastal Virginia Candle Co. is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Effective August 15, 2025
We always want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you are unsatisfied, our returns policy makes it easy to make a return or exchange. Returned items need to be 75% intact and must be accompanied by the original receipt within 30 days of purchase. Please note that Candle Warmers, wax melters, and Airome Diffusers must be unused and in their original packaging and condition. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards, gift wrapping fees, shipping fees, donations, and custom products. Refunds will be issued in the original payment method used. Additionally, all clearance items are final sale. Don't forget, we offer free shipping on qualifying orders. Effective August 15, 2025.
